Can any vessel or moving liquid be measured without a setup review?
No. The probe must be used in a compatible arrangement. Vessel access, sample movement and the intended measurement conditions need to be assessed for the application.
Discuss the sample container, liquid properties and quantity together. The convenience of a probe does not remove the need for a suitable background, clean measurement interface or controlled dispersion. Confirm the particular NANOTRAC model and options instead of assuming that every probe arrangement has identical functions.
Where does the NANOTRAC probe collect the signal?
Light reaches the dispersion through the sapphire interface. The detector receives scattered light from moving particles along with a reflected reference signal. The state of the liquid close to the window therefore matters when selecting a vessel or comparing setups.
Method details to record
| Consideration | What to record |
|---|---|
| Sample vessel | Geometry and available quantity |
| Interface condition | Background and cleaning |
| System selection | Model and supported options |
What should be checked after changing containers?
Confirm probe access, window coverage, cleanliness and sample movement under the proposed conditions. Compare the same dispersion in both supported arrangements before transferring an established method.
