INDUSTRIAL & PRODUCTION / 100–1,500+ L

Production scale.
Material first.

Alphie 3D inversion powder blenders for larger batches. Explore industrial systems from 100 L to over 1,500 L, with removable or fixed containers and construction tailored to your production environment.

ALPHIE PRODUCTION MODELS

Larger batches.
A gentler mixing principle.

The whole container moves through a controlled, multidirectional tumbling pattern. Powders, granules, flakes, pellets and other dry materials mix without high-speed internal blades.

Low-shear movement

3D inversion offers a gentle approach for materials sensitive to aggressive agitation, heat generation or degradation.

Batch consistency

Develop the speed, time, direction and fill level around your blend. Validate uniformity and segregation behavior using your material and sampling method.

Production flexibility

Choose a container concept, construction and handling arrangement around batch size, changeovers and the manufacturing process.

CHOOSE THE CONTAINER CONCEPT

Two approaches.
One production goal.

Systems are configured around the application. Discuss actual working volume, bulk density, mixing mass and material-handling requirements.

REMOVABLE-CONTAINER SYSTEMS

Move the batch.
Keep the flexibility.

Remove the vessel for loading, unloading, cleaning and material transfer. Dedicated containers can help simplify changeovers and reduce cross-contamination between formulations.

  • Flexible loading and material transfer
  • Dedicated product-contact vessels
  • Review compatible containers, holders and adapters
Discuss removable containers

FIXED-CONTAINER SYSTEMS

Build around
the production line.

A fixed-container design supports dedicated manufacturing and larger-batch processing. Plan filling, discharge, cleaning and integration around the line and material.

  • Dedicated production workflows
  • Larger-batch processing requirements
  • Review loading, discharge and cleaning access
Discuss fixed containers

The published production range starts at 100 L and extends beyond 1,500 L. Final capacity, mass limits, dimensions, motor and electrical specifications are configuration-specific.

SPECIFY THE COMPLETE SYSTEM

The environment.
The construction.
The way you work.

Choose equipment finishes, product-contact materials, controls and handling around the process.

Industrial or stainless steel construction

Standard powder-coated finishes are available for general industrial use. Discuss GMP-oriented stainless steel construction for sanitary, pharmaceutical, food and cleanroom applications, including polished or electropolished product-contact surfaces.

Guarding, interlocks & process controls

Discuss front guarding, safety interlocks and stop-on-opening functionality with the selected configuration. HMI / PLC controls and any 21 CFR Part 11 requirements should be assessed with the team, including the documentation your process needs.

Vessel compatibility & batch handling

Review container materials, finishes, fill level, holders and adapters. Include loading, unloading, transfer, cleaning access and facility clearances in the application discussion.

OPTIONAL LIQUID DOSING SYSTEM

Add liquids.
Keep the blend moving.

Add liquid ingredients to Alphie production models during the blending cycle. Rather than introducing the full liquid volume at the start, the optional system can deliver staged additions while the container continues its 3D inversion motion.

  1. Set the amount.

Adjust dosing quantities around the formulation and target liquid content.

  2. Choose the timing.

Introduce liquids at controlled intervals, with variable timing to suit the process.

  3. Distribute through the blend.

Gradual addition can help reduce localized overwetting and clumping as the material moves.

Application possibilitiesPowder wetting · Particle coating · Binder addition · Solvent addition · Moisture control

Specify the liquid, viscosity, total addition, dosing sequence and powder batch. Confirm compatibility, connections and operating conditions through an application review and material trials.
