PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Ultrasonic processing.
Matched to your sample.

The Q700 combines a color touchscreen with digital control of processing intensity and timing. Its internal circuitry is designed for efficient operation and consistent performance between samples. Amplitude adjustment from 1% to 100% provides fine resolution for demanding applications.

The rated laboratory volume is up to 2 L for low-viscosity liquids. The available power also accommodates somewhat more viscous materials, although achievable volume depends on sample properties and the selected horn. The standard direct-processing arrangement uses a 1/2 in probe with a replaceable tip.

Stored programs retain amplitude, pulse and timing parameters. Up to five programs can run in sequence, supporting processes with different intensity stages and rest periods. An optional temperature probe adds sample temperature monitoring and automatic shutdown at the selected limit.

PARTS & ACCESSORIES

Available components

Microtip probes

Microtip probes

Small-volume probes: 1/16 in for 0.2-5 mL; 1/8 in for 1-15 mL; 1/4 in for 5-50 mL. A stepped 1/8 in microtip with coupler supports 0.5-15 mL.

Cup horn

Cup horn

Indirect sonication of sealed tubes in a high-intensity water bath. Acrylic cup inner diameter 5.5 in; horn diameter 2.5 in. Two racks accommodate polystyrene and standard polypropylene tubes. Cooling connections support temperature control.

Sound enclosure

Sound enclosure

Acoustic enclosure with approximately 20 dBA noise reduction, internal converter support, viewing window and coolant or temperature-probe ports. Exterior: 13.5 W × 13 D × 30.5 H in. Excludes the separately enclosed microplate horn configuration.

Low-volume continuous flow cell

Low-volume continuous flow cell

316L stainless steel flow cell for mixing, dispersion and recirculation of batches above 1 L. Internal volume 65 mL; maximum flow 0.5 L/min; 1/4 in hose barbs. Compatible flanged 1/2 in solid or replaceable-tip probes and an external water jacket are available separately.

Four-tip horn

Four-tip horn

Parallel direct sonication of four samples. The 1/8 in version covers 1-15 mL per sample with 1.05 in tip spacing; the 1/4 in version covers 10-50 mL with 1.6 in spacing. Replacement tips are available.
