Two motions. One mixing process.

Planetary centrifugal motion combines vessel rotation with revolution around a central axis. Material is mixed inside the supported vessel without a conventional immersed blade.

Full model description

The SK-1100TV production model with vacuum assist for degassing and defoaming is engineered to deliver high-quality material processing by combining high-speed revolution with a wide-radius gyration motion. This advanced mixing action improves the blending efficiency of powders and liquids, making it ideal for demanding production applications.

By precisely controlling the timing at which the rotation speed increases, the system enhances the mixing rate while helping to suppress lump formation, resulting in a more uniform and consistent final product. The combination of powerful motion control and optimized mixing performance makes this model well suited for producing high-quality materials with improved process reliability.

Monitor the processing conditions.

Review speed settings and recorded process data alongside the formulation result. Vacuum models also display pressure.

Process monitoring details

The system makes operating data easy to monitor by displaying key process information both graphically and numerically. Users can view revolution speed, rotation speed, vacuum pressure, and other important operating parameters in real time, either as a visual graph or in log form. This allows operators to track process conditions, confirm repeatability, and review performance data after mixing and degassing.

The ability to monitor and record operating conditions supports better quality control, easier troubleshooting, and more consistent processing results.

Touchscreen operation

The touchscreen interface is designed for simple, intuitive operation. Users can touch the field they want to edit and enter values directly, making setup faster and easier. Speed settings, operating time, and other numerical parameters can be entered using a pop-up numeric keypad, eliminating the need to move a cursor with buttons or scroll through values manually.

This streamlined input method improves usability, reduces setup time, and helps operators enter process conditions more accurately.

Container and adapter details

The Kakuhunter mixer can accommodate multiple container sizes and shapes, giving users flexibility when processing different material volumes, viscosities, and application requirements. By using the proper adapter, materials can be mixed and degassed in small jars, syringes, cups, bottles, and specialty containers without needing to transfer the material between vessels. This helps reduce material loss, minimize contamination risk, and improve workflow efficiency.

The ability to use different container formats makes the system suitable for a wide range of applications, from small-scale R&D samples to larger laboratory batches, while maintaining consistent mixing, dispersion, and bubble removal performance.

Optional temperature monitoring

The optional Kakuhunter Temperature Monitoring System allows users to measure and monitor material temperature in real time during the mixing process. This accessory helps improve process control, supports repeatable results, and provides added protection for temperature-sensitive materials.

  • Measures and monitors material temperature while mixing
  • Displays real-time temperature data from the integrated temperature sensor
  • Provides alarm notifications when the measured temperature exceeds the preset upper or lower limit
  • Allows measured temperature data to be exported in CSV format for recordkeeping and analysis
  • Compatible with 300 mL, 400 mL, and 1100 mL containers

For temperature-sensitive formulations

· Materials are damaged by temperature rises.
· Materials harden with temperature rises.
· The composition of materials changes or their components volatilize, etc.
