Two motions. One mixing process.

Planetary centrifugal motion combines vessel rotation with revolution around a central axis. Material is mixed inside the supported vessel without a conventional immersed blade.

Full model description

This advanced planetary centrifugal mixer builds on the basic individual revolution and rotation speed control system by adding enhanced processing functions for more demanding materials. The unit allows the revolution speed and rotation speed to be set independently, giving users greater control over mixing, dispersion, and defoaming conditions.

With the ability to process up to 700 g of material using two 400 mL containers weighing up to 350 g each, it is well suited for laboratory-scale development and material testing. In addition to its standard mixing and defoaming capabilities with vacuum assist, the model includes high-speed mode for intensive processing and anti-separation mode, which helps suppress separation in materials with different specific gravities, such as powder-and-liquid mixtures.

Container and adapter details

The Kakuhunter mixer can accommodate multiple container sizes and shapes, giving users flexibility when processing different material volumes, viscosities, and application requirements. By using the proper adapter, materials can be mixed and degassed in small jars, syringes, cups, bottles, and specialty containers without needing to transfer the material between vessels. This helps reduce material loss, minimize contamination risk, and improve workflow efficiency.

The ability to use different container formats makes the system suitable for a wide range of applications, from small-scale R&D samples to larger laboratory batches, while maintaining consistent mixing, dispersion, and bubble removal performance.

Optional temperature monitoring

The optional Kakuhunter Temperature Monitoring System allows users to measure and monitor material temperature in real time during the mixing process. This accessory helps improve process control, supports repeatable results, and provides added protection for temperature-sensitive materials.

  • Measures and monitors material temperature while mixing
  • Displays real-time temperature data from the integrated temperature sensor
  • Provides alarm notifications when the measured temperature exceeds the preset upper or lower limit
  • Allows measured temperature data to be exported in CSV format for recordkeeping and analysis
  • Compatible with 300 mL, 400 mL, and 1100 mL containers

For temperature-sensitive formulations

· Materials are damaged by temperature rises.
· Materials harden with temperature rises.
· The composition of materials changes or their components volatilize, etc.
