Accommodate larger pieces
A 120 × 90 mm jaw opening and stepless 0–30 mm gap setting support coarse and pre-crushing tasks.
RETSCH / LARGER FEED. FRONT ACCESS.
Accept feed below 120 × 90 mm with a front-access crushing chamber, a 10 L collector and continuous-operation options. Published throughput is up to 300 kg/h, with final fineness below 2 mm under suitable conditions.

THE MODEL IN FOCUS
A 120 × 90 mm jaw opening and stepless 0–30 mm gap setting support coarse and pre-crushing tasks.
The front door gives direct access to the crushing chamber. A wear-indicating scale helps monitor the breaking jaws.
Use the 10 L collector for batch work or discuss an outlet arrangement for continuous operation. A BB 250 / DM 200 cyclone combination is available for staged sample preparation.
*Feed size, final fineness and throughput depend on the material, jaw selection, gap setting and configuration. Published capacities are not simultaneous performance guarantees.
PUBLISHED MODEL DATA
BB 250 uses pressure for coarse and pre-crushing of medium-hard, hard, brittle and tough materials.
Feed size, final fineness and throughput depend on the material, jaw selection, gap setting and configuration. Published capacities are not simultaneous performance guarantees. Confirm current electrical and configuration requirements before ordering.

OPTIONAL CYCLONE COLLECTION
Discuss cyclone-assisted collection to help reduce sample loss and dust exposure during crushing. Retrofit options are listed for BB 50, BB 250, BB 400 and BB 500; confirm the setup for BB 250.
A BB 250 / DM 200 combination can connect crushing and disc milling through a cyclone system for continuous sample preparation.
Discuss cyclone compatibilityPRESSURE. MOVEMENT. CONTROL.
Material enters through the hopper into a wedge-shaped chamber. One jaw is fixed while the other moves, applying pressure to reduce the sample. Particles pass to the collector when small enough to move through the discharge gap.
